Hobo the Magnificent

An immortal boy and his ragtag family of freedom fighters travel a broken world in search of the Tree of Life.

Premise

Built on the ruins of a world that killed itself

Two thousand three hundred and fifty-seven years ago, the Null took every machine on earth in a single pulse. What survived gathered around the few who still held working technology. They became the Bosses, and their heirs rule the five city-states to this day.

Civilization runs on Djangmium ore, mined in the frozen north and burned in a great Energy Pyramid at the heart of each city. Step outside the walls and the power dies. The lie holding it together is simple: Djangmia is everywhere, free and endless, in the air of every room. You are simply never taught to feel it. The Hobos were, and that is why they are hunted.
